Why I chose to study Japanese? I chose to study Japanese because I love the culture and plan on visiting my brother; who plans to move to Japan. He met his wife when he was a Marine stationed in Okinawa. One of my favorite movies is Spirited Away and I'm very excited I might be able to enjoy it in it's intended language. My brother also introduced me to Japanese music, two of my favorite Japanese bands right now are indigo la End and Frederic . The hardest part for me so far is pronunciation; but now that I'm able to read Hiragana, I find it a little easier than romaji.
